Walk through tour of Eager Farms plot.

Greetings,

Yesterday morning I took a quick walk through inspection of my plot.   Last weeks winds raised some cane with some of the hybrids.   Look and see which ones are still standing!

Rained…..Kept me out of field.   Frustrating!   Wanted to run yesterday…. really bad.   Oh well…   I uploaded some video I shot last week.

Goin' with the wind.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jr4P4Xdxb_o  Harvest of a couple of side by sides between Pioneer 37F76 / DeKalb DKC50-44   and Pioneer P0125HR / DeKalb DKC50-44.   Wind and the August drought stress is really raising havoc with the corn.   We are losing bushels in the field due to stalk quality.   Check it out in this video.

September 21 2010 Soybean Harvest in Sanilac County   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSFW5HBVmjo  Video shot while calibrating Ron Gerstenberger's and Randy Parrent's yield monitors.   Soybean yields have been excellent!    Gerstenberger's were harvesting an early soybean variety 1.7 rm  Pioneer 91Y71.   Randy was harvesting Pioneer 92M33 a 2.3 RM soybean.   Check it out!    That 35 ft header and 55 bpa+ soybeans really made that John Deere 9610 growl !
